If you are experiencing intermittent or continuous USB drive disconnections and failure to copy to/from the Kwilt device it could be due to insufficient power.
The Kwilt device has 3x Output USB ports and 1x Input USB port meaning it could have 4 USB devices connected to it at the same time. That being said the Kwilt device operates on 2Amps (2,000mA) meaning it is able to support 1 USB-powered USB drive (max. 5V/1A), plus any number of self-powered USB drives (powered by wall outlet) and USB thumb drives simultaneously connected. It supports multiple hard drives to be used with the device and its software, however after having the 1 USB-powered hard drive it will require a wall-powered USB hub for the other USB-powered hard drives you are looking to use with it. If all hard drives you are using are wall-powered ignore the above as they are not pulling power from the Kwilt device.
